Anguirus

An ankylosaurus frozen for 150 million years, Anguirus is awakened and transformed by a hydrogen bomb test. Anguirus first debuted in GODZILLA RAIDS AGAIN (1955) as the first monster to fight (and be defeated by) Godzilla. Another Anguirus that appears in DESTROY ALL MONSTERS (1968) was a popular fellow kaiju to Mothra, Rodan and Godzilla.
