Battra

Created by the Earth itself eons ago as a defense mechanism against environmental pollution, Battra becomes an overzealous destroyer that wipes out one of mankind’s early civilizations. Battra has the same life cycle as Mothra, with a larva form having a transitional phase into a winged form. But while Mothra is like an emblem of the Earth’s grandeur and beauty, Battra is a living weapon, born already armored and weaponized against any threat to the planet’s well-being. Unlike Mothra, which shares a peaceful relationship with mankind, Battra the destroyer considers humanity as another threat to the Earth, which must be eradicated. The Cosmos, Sho-Bijin call it Black Mothra and Battle Mothra.
