GODZILLA (2016)

SHIN GODZILLA (2016) was the first Godzilla film made by Toho after a 12-year break following GODZILLA: FINAL WARS (2004). In an original story with no continuity with any of the previous Godzilla films, a bizarre creature emerges from the sea and comes ashore in Japan, where it undergoes a series of sudden evolutionary changes to its body shape and size. Its final, fourth form is a horrifying new incarnation of Godzilla. A new era of Godzilla films had arrived, and the result was the most powerful version of the monster yet.
