Godzillasaurus

On the remote Pacific island of Lagos, a type of dinosaur known as the Godzillasaurus survives into the 20th century, living a peaceful life as an omnivore. When American troops on the island attack a company of Japanese soldiers, the creature appears and drives the Americans into the sea. U.S. warships fire on the dinosaur, leaving it wounded, but not before many lives have already been lost. Before leaving the island the surviving Japanese soldiers gather to show respect to the creature that saved their lives.
