Megalon

Megalon is a horned beetle-like kaiju that acts as a guardian for the Seatopians. With thorny arms that combine into a powerful drill, Megalon is able to easily tunnel through the Earth. When the Seatopians suffer the effects of nuclear tests in the Aleutian Islands, they dispatch Megalon to the surface world to get revenge. To help Megalon, the Seatopians summon Gigan from the M Space Hunter Nebula. But after Jet Jaguar’s ally Godzilla joins the fight, Megalon and Gigan are soon defeated.
